• Arizona's 2026 IDEA Conference Registration Waitlist

  • Thank you for your interest in Arizona's 2026 IDEA Conference. Please carefully review the important instructions and disclaimer below.

    Important: This waitlist form will only accept one (1) attendee request per submission. If you are requesting seats for multiple individuals, a separate form must be completed and submitted for each person.

    Disclaimer: Submission of a waitlist request does not guarantee conference registration or a reserved seat at the conference. All waitlist requests will be reviewed by the IDEA Conference Committee and considered based on available capacity and established conference policies and procedures. Individuals selected from the waitlist will be notified of their approval and must be prepared to submit payment through APLD no later than August 7, 2026, to secure their registration. Failure to complete payment by the stated deadline may result in forfeiture of the registration opportunity.

    Please fill out the following form to be added to the general registration waitlist.

    Registration is a multi-step process that includes:

    1. Submit a seat request through this form for review by the IDEA Conference Committee.

    2. If approved for payment, you will receive instructions to submit payment through the Arizona Professional Learning and Development System (APLD). Payments submitted without an approved seat request will be canceled.

    Registration fee: $425

    New this year, each seat request must be accompanied by an active APLD Learner ID. This number is required to confirm the APLD account that will be associated with the payment for each seat request.

    If you do not have an APLD account, you must first create an ADE Connect account: 

    • Schools (Districts/LEAs/PEAs): Attempt to add a new user through ADE Connect.
    • If the method above did not work or you are not a school (District/LEA/PEA) employee: Register for an ADE Connect account.

  • APLD ID Access and Location Guide

  • In order to streamline the 2026 IDEA Conference's registration and payment process, we are requiring the submission of each registrant's APLD Learner ID. This ID allows the IDEA Conference Committee to match each registrant's registration information to their appropriate payment information and ensures each registrant has an active APLD account.

    To locate a registrant's APLD Learner ID, please follow these steps:

    1. Log into APLD

    2. From the APLD dashboard (Home) page, select the "Print Transcript" option from the menu, located on the left-hand side of the screen, underneath the Learner's information.

      NOTE: Depending on when you last signed into your account, you may first be required to update your account information, e.g., LEA, dietary needs, accommodations, etc. These required updates will be displayed on your screen, and you will be unable to access other features of APLD until account details have been reviewed, updated (if needed), and saved.

    3. Once the Learner Transcript has been accessed, locate the Learner ID in the top left of the Learner Transcript

    4. Please keep a record of your Learner ID.

      IMPORTANT: Please record and enter this number accurately, as it will be used to reconcile your seat request with your APLD payment. If we are unable to match your seat request with a corresponding payment, your request may be delayed or denied. We recommend saving a PDF copy of your Learner Transcript so you can reference it as needed.

  • All reserved seats will be required to have an ADE Connect account to complete registration and payment in APLD. More information about creating ADE connect accounts will be provided at the end of this form.*

  • The "I understand" option and the “Submit” button below must be selected to complete this seat request. You will know you have submitted successfully if you see the "Thank You" message and receive an emailed copy of your seat request.

    Registration is a two-part process. Submission of this seat request is step one. Once your seat request has been reviewed, the IDEA Conference Planning Committee will send instructions on next steps.

    Once you’ve submitted your seat request, we won’t be able to make changes to it. If you need to update anything, please contact the IDEA Conference Committee to cancel the original request so you can submit a new one with your updated needs.

    Event Disclaimer – Photography & Media Notice

    By attending this Arizona Department of Education (ADE) event, participants acknowledge that photographs and/or video may be taken throughout the program for use in ADE-related publications and communications. These may include, but are not limited to, brochures, newsletters, digital media, websites, and other informational or promotional materials.

    Participation in the event constitutes an understanding that images or recordings captured during the event may be used by ADE in print or electronic formats. ADE may also share these materials with external partners for educational or informational purposes.

    Attendees understand that ADE is not required to provide advance notice, seek additional approval, or offer compensation for the use of event photos or videos. ADE strives to use all media responsibly and respectfully.

    If at any time an attendee prefers not to be photographed or recorded, they may notify event staff, who will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request.

    Lodging Information

    Room Block Availability:

    Check-in: Monday, August 17 (after 4:00 PM)
    Check-out: Thursday, August 20 (by 11:00 AM)
    This means participants may reserve accommodation for the nights of Monday, August 17; Tuesday, August 18; and Wednesday, August 19. Please note, guests booking outside the room block dates will be solely responsible for parking fees, service charges, and any other expenses incurred during their stay.

    Conference Room Block Rate: $199 per night (excluding taxes)

    Reservations must be made through the ADE/ESS IDEA Conference Grand Hyatt Scottsdale booking site to receive the $199 rate.
